The Espee Lives! |
Description: |
This Southern Pacific AC4400CW has somehow managed to escape the paint booths for 20 years. She is still wearing her original coat of SP gray and red. Though her Bloody Nose has since faded to pink, shb is unpatched, and other than her reflective yellow frame stripe, bears no markings alluding to UP ownership. 343 is one of five AC4400CWs on UP still in SP paint, at the time of this photograph. |

Admiration |
Description: |
Railfans gather to photograph and appreciate Southern Pacific AC4400CW number 343 for what she is: A living embodiment of a fallen flag, still carrying the torch for her original owners. She had quite the entourage coming and going, throughout the day! |
